Donation Requests… We Do Our Best!

Thank you for your interest in Freeport Bakery. Freeport Bakery has been a daily contributor to Loaves and Fishes shelter since 1987. We also donate a vast amount of our baked goods and gift certificates to many different organizations.

Due to the large amount of requests, it is impossible to respond to every request made. Please do not contact us to see if we received your request or if we are going to make a donation. If we are able to help you we will contact you.

As you may have already guessed, we are asked daily for donations because of the great needs of our schools and our community. We budget these donations yearly and can only allot an additional amount to other unsolicited requests.

Please see below for information on donation requests that do not fit our donation criteria. *

Please note that Freeport Bakery is structured in a way that we are unable to use our donations as a tax deduction. All donations are made because of how strongly we feel about the importance of giving back to our community. The guidelines below will help you with requesting a donation from Freeport Bakery.
  • Your request must be in writing. We do not accept phone calls regarding donations.
  • Please include in the request what our donation would be going towards.
  • Include in your request what you are asking for, e.g. a gift certificate for a raffle, cookies for a dinner.
  • The date you need the donation.
  • Name and phone number/email of contact person.
  • Once your donation request is received, a decision will be made based on other requests made at that time.

Due to the large amount of requests, it is impossible to respond to every request made.

* We do not make donations to political organizations/campaigns, religious organizations/programs, or private parties.
